Hamilton Jewelers, Princeton Palm Beach, in partnership with the Arts Council of Princeton, announces “The Art of Time” – a live fundraising WATCH FAIR event – featuring watches, art exhibit, prints, t-shirts and more, on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Hamilton’s Princeton headquarters, located at 92 Nassau Street.
Raising awareness of arts in the Princeton community, regional artists will have the opportunity to have their work seen by thousands of attendees during the WATCH FAIR exhibition.
“In celebration of Hamilton 20th anniversary of hosting our annual WATCH FAIR, we wanted to offer something truly unique that would raise awareness and funds for the arts in our community,” Hamilton Vice President Donna Bouchard. “We are delighted to partner with the Arts Council of Princeton by hosting an exhibition of artwork by local residents and students.”
Princeton-based acclaimed artist, Linda Zacks, is creating the limited edition art collectibles — prints, and high-quality t-shirts — that will be sold during the event. Zacks’ work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications worldwide, and has had limited edition books in the MoMa Design Store and The International Center of Photography.
Zacks’ art installations include “The Greatest City on Earth” public art project in lower Manhattan; Paris Murals Collection in Gare Montparnasse Station Paris; Sony Style Flagship and Retail in New York City; and INQ Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. Zacks is represented by Exhibit No.9 Gallery + Studio for Contemporary Art in Asbury Park.
“The Arts Council of Princeton thanks Hamilton Jewelers for supporting the arts by showcasing the works of local artists during Princeton University’s graduation weekend. Filling the streets of Princeton with local art during this busy time raises awareness of the Arts Council’s mission of building community through the arts,” says Executive Director Jim Levine.
“The Art of Time” will be held at Hamilton Jewelers, 92 Nassau Street, Princeton, and will have an ‛Art Wall’ to showcase all of the art throughout the weekend.
