A truly inspiring story of Walter B. Biondi will give you inspiration to never let go off dreams that you hold for yourself. Being a celebrated author of book The Promiscuous Puppeteer. He gave us an account of his life to infuse that missing inspiration in our own life seeing the obstacles ahead of us.
Here is what he wrote to Studio Carry On Harry about his self reflections of his story
My name is Walter B. Biondi. I was born and mostly raised in the state of Pennsylvania, in the US. When I was 13 my parents divorced and I ended up leaving home when I was 15. I became a “street kid” with no place to go. I had dropped out of high school. I had only completed the 9th grade. My first winter alone, I lived on the streets. It was bitter cold with snowstorms. I sometimes found a car that was unlocked that I could crawl into to try to sleep and stay warm. I had very little food. I worked at a few part time jobs but the business owners took advantage of my age and inexperience by not paying me my full wages earned. Gradually, over time ,I found that I could go into the local public library when it was open and use their bathroom, wash up, and get warm. The librarian inside the warm facility would wink at me and let me use their facility. One day she sat me down at a record player to listen to a record recording of a speech given by motivational speaker by Earl Nightingale. The title of the speech was “The Greatest Secret.” Listening to that recording, after I had surrendered hope for much of a future, changed my entire life.
The theme was that we all can become what we think most about. If we want to achieve something so much that we think about it most of the time then we have a significant chance that we can become what it was that occupied so much of our time. In other words, the speech was about being able to achieve what we wanted most. The teachings focused on nonconformity and self-education, and summarized that “You are now, and you do become, what you think about.
I gave a lot of thought to that recording. I did not want to live a life of poverty, destitution, and desperation. So, I began to think every day about what I had to do to advance myself, to get ahead in life, and to succeed in small things, then bigger goals, and ultimately life long objectives. I began to work 70 to 80 hours a week while I studied to take the GED high School equivalency test, which I passed. I joined the U.S. Navy and served for 2 years. I took college courses while in the Navy. Once out of the Navy I became a police officer and took more college courses.
Then, as ,a Deputy US Marshal while I finished by University degree and passed my law school admissions exam, I graduated with honors. While always setting new goals, I constantly thought about what I wanted to accomplish. I followed Earl Nightengale’s advice and I became an unimaginable success in a great many accomplishments while always “becoming what I thought most about.- I steadily advanced in the US Department Of Justice and the U.S. Treasury Department, heading up many Office’s and becoming one of the Assistant Directors of the U.S. Marshals Service, a Chief Inspector for INTERPOL, and held three Assistant Commissioner positions in the U.S. Treasury Department while ultimately being chosen to receive the President Of The United States Distinguished Senior Executive Of The Year award. Upon retiring from the United States Government I initiated 3 small businesses while I began writing my first and second books.
Now, having sold my businesses, I once again gave myself to Earl Nightengale’s words of wisdom that we become what we think most about. I initiated a charity mission to The Philippines for a few years during which I helped many families and individuals, many who had no parents, who had lived a life of poverty, destitution and desperation, like I had done when I was young. I helped many who had no home to go to, who had life threatening infections, viruses, and diseases, who had too little to eat, and who slept on the ground with the rats. Many families can now afford the necessities of life, have their very own roof over their head, a motorbike for transportation, jobs to go to, and so much more. Some were aided with education and the ongoing promise of attaining a Bachelors degree.
At this point in my life I suffered a heart attack. To make a long story short, I wanted to know all the reasons how and why this had happened to me. I spend nearly three years researching the entire subject and discovered a miracle that most of the world knew little about. I knew that what I had learned was earthshaking, revolutionary. I learned that, contrary to what almost all doctors said, some cancers, heart diseases, diabetes, and dozens of other medical conditions could be cured. I become once again what I thought most about, a person who throughout his life had wanted to help and serve other people to make their lives better.
I decided to write my new upcoming book, one which has the potential to save countless lives and to increase the longevity of millions of people, adding 10, 20, even 30 years to their lives. And so, that has been my calling, to help others by example and by way of sharing my life’s experiences in becoming a great many things that I had thought most about. As my newest book awaits publication this Spring, I remain busy helping others. It is what Earl Nightengale taught me when I was a homeless street kid so many years ago, that I could become whatever I thought most about. All I had to do was spend most of my time thinking about what I wanted to become, while working towards each and every goal. When people thought my goals were too hard or unreasonable I tried harder. If there was an obstacle in my way I went over it, around it or under it. I refused to let anything stop me from achieving my goals. I became what I thought most about, day, and night, and weekends.
Today I am about to achieve my greatest accomplishment. The opportunity to make healthy and to save the loves of countless numbers of people around the world.
My newest book, “The Plant Food Diet Miracle. (A Life Saving Primer For You And Your Loved Ones).” will reveal all that I learned. (For those who want to follow my Facebook group it is titled “The Plant Food Diet Miracle” group. Come and join me. I promise some interesting information in the months ahead. Some of the proceeds from my businesses, and all of the proceeds from my books have gone towards helping others in various worldwide locations. I am pledging the full first $10,000 from my newest book when it is published, titled “The Plant Food Diet Miracle,” to my charity work
God bless you all and thank you Harry. You are a so very special person who has also done much to help humanity.
