Big Fuss Records New Music Release “Whatever Makes You Happy” By Tony Andrews In Stores

Big Fuss Records is pleased to announce that Tony Andrews and his poignant vocal style will hit stores with “Whatever Makes You Happy”, April 9, 2021. The twelve inventive compositions comprising the set, prove the artist is not only a one-of-a-kind vocalist, but a true storyteller and songwriter who not only likes to “rock out” but also enjoys writing and performing Love songs.

Determined to keep the artistic flames burning, Tony wrote “Whatever Makes You Happy” as if it were a small road map to help people remember a few home truths… “We all need love, it’s just a natural thing; Gotta let some out… Gotta let some in… Gotta LET LOVE do what it does.”

Tony Andrews was born and raised in North London, his world opened-up when he discovered The Beatles, the ‘Motown’ sound, Led Zeppelin, AC-DC and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac.

Tony’s song,  “Whatever Makes You Happy” encourages the listener to go find their passion… Happiness is found deep within the self (usually after one has left their comfort zone), Tony believes we are all individuals who need to seek and search for what makes us feel alive, it’s so important to find happiness within.

Tony has discovered his passion with his music, “Whatever Makes You Happy” is like a sign post pointing the way to happiness. It’s an inside job.

When Tony was a boy, he enjoyed watching “Smokey and the Bandit” many times. He believes the soundtrack of this old classic Burt Reynolds film is the reason why some of his songs have a country flavor, you can hear this influence in “Turn Me On” and “Hey Mama” both these tracks are on the new album. In addition, you can watch Tony’s video “Feel” here.

Here is Media Interview Done with Tony Andrew by Studio Carry On Harry

About You …

My name’s Tony Andrews … I’m an English Singer-Songwriter and Author.

I’m from London, I grew up in London, and I still live in London today, but I plan to move to California soon.

Reason ….

The grey clouds in old England tend to suck the life

out of dreams.

I look forward to feeling more vitamin ‘D’ on my skin, in California!

How long been entertaining people …..

I’ve been writing and recording and going out doing gigs for just over ten years now.

Your Typical performances ….

I’ve played in a couple of rock bands…

Choice of music and idols …

I love American music! I love Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ray Lamontagne, his voice is insane.

I just love great artists who write from the heart, John Lennon, Neil Young, I also love singers with a more soulful flavour, Al-Green, Marvin Gaye, Prince.

I love great voices like… Wilson Pickett, Etta James,

Have you heard Wilson Picket sing  ‘HEY JUDE’? It’s amazing!

Who and what inspires you ?

I get inspired by people and events…

I love watching ‘Queen’ do their 1985 ‘Live-Aid’ performance on youtube.

Freddie Mercury’s passion, along with Queen really inspire me.

Story behind new song ?

I wrote my song… ‘Whatever Makes You Happy’ in January 2021. The words I wrote in this track help me feel like I’m saying the right things to people who’ve been going through what I’ve been going through, ‘lockdown’ has been a long strange drag for many of us, it’s important to remember that LOVE still reigns over fear…and its ultra-important for us to …… DO WHAT MAKES US HAPPY, and stick to it.

Any other project that you feel great to share with us at Studio Carry On Harry ?

I have one book published and another one on its way… I only mention this cos… when I first started writing, I remember how happy it made me feel inside, it was very uplifting, but nothing good comes easy in this wild world. We gotta work hard and stick to projects right through till the end, and hopefully get tip-top results.

What comes natural to you ?

I love doing gigs, it gives me a natural-buzz… singing to people.

Future Choice of work with ?

I would love to record with Willie Nelson’s son, Lukas Nelson.

It would be great to get in the studio with Lukas and his band… ‘The Promise of the Real’,

I really love those guys. Lukas has a great voice and is a great guitarist. I like his song..

”The Breathe of my baby” and “Forget about Georgia”. I love their ‘Americana’ style.

It would also be great to make a track with Carlos Santana, his guitar work is insane.

I really like John Fogerty, he’s a good role model for me, he’s made millions of dollars and still seems to be the same cool guy wearing his old jeans and flannel shirts, his voice and songs are unique. I love the raw substance in his songs, Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary.

Ultimate Goal about music …

I want to keep my music quite raw and direct, deliver something to the people that will hopefully make them feel good.

But saying that… when I’m more in touch with writing love songs…I get blown away by Brian Wilson’s genius, with all the harmonies he made in the Beach Boys recordings. “Don’t worry baby” is a perfect song! I would love to make some songs with lots of vocal harmonies.

In short, I want to make music that makes people feel good!

Any new songs that are coming soon ?

I have many songs lined up for a second album, hopefully I will record it in the states.

I hope to build a fan base in America…

I’m sending my love to all music lovers out there.

And a Big thanks To Kristin at Big Fuss records …

and all the guys who played on my first album.

Peace and Love
