New Book Pairs Coloring Pages With Genesis Story for Bible Study Groups

Rev. Ronald Wright and Rev. Michael R. Grooms have published "God’s Creation: Coloring Book and Story Time," a book that retells the opening chapters of Genesis alongside illustrations readers can color in. The book is published through Christian Faith Publishing.

Wright wrote the manuscript over several years. Grooms illustrated the book and guided it through to publication, according to the announcement. The two describe the project as a joint effort meant to make Wright’s original text accessible to new readers.

The book features two main sections: first, a Genesis-based creation narrative with accompanying illustrations, and second, discussion prompts and reflective questions designed for both group and individual contemplation. The publisher describes it as suited to Bible study groups, new believers, and readers looking for a different way into the creation story.

In their statement, the authors expressed their hope that the book "will shed light from a different perspective on God’s creation, enabling readers to engage with Scripture in transformative ways that strengthen faith." "This interactive journey is our gift to all who seek a closer walk with God."

The book is available at bookstores and through Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, and Barnes & Noble, as well as through Christian Faith Publishing’s website.

Studio CarryOnHarry sees this as part of a steady stream of faith-based titles aimed at small-group study rather than general retail shelves — a niche with a built-in, if modest, audience.
