New Illustrated Book Pairs Genesis Narrative With Coloring Pages for Bible Study Groups

Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk

The newly released "God’s Creation: Coloring Book and Story Time" by Rev. Ronald Wright and Rev. Michael R. Grooms presents Genesis’s opening narratives with accompanying illustrations for coloring. The book is published through Christian Faith Publishing.

Wright wrote the manuscript over a period of years, according to the announcement, while Grooms produced the accompanying illustrations and worked to bring the project to publication. The two describe the finished book as a joint effort, with Grooms’ artwork built around Wright’s original text.

The book is structured in two parts: a narrative retelling of creation’s early chapters, and a discussion section with reflective questions meant for group settings. According to the publisher, it’s designed for use in Bible study groups, among new believers, or by anyone looking to revisit the creation story. The coloring pages are intended to give readers a way to engage with the material beyond straight reading, pairing visual participation with the text’s themes of divine design and humanity’s place within it.

In their statement, the authors expressed hope that the book would illuminate God’s creation from a fresh angle, enabling readers to interact with Scripture in transformative ways and offering it as a resource for those pursuing spiritual deepening.

The book is available through bookstores and major online retailers, including Amazon, Apple iTunes Store, Google Play, and Barnes and Noble. For Studio CarryOnHarry, the format itself is the story here: a Genesis retelling built to be colored in, not just read, aimed squarely at study groups and new believers rather than a general audience.
