Charlotte Stanton, a licensed mental health therapist based in Nebraska, has published a memoir describing her own experience with occult practices and what she describes as a return to Christian faith. The book, "The Battle for My Soul: A True Story of My Descent into the Occult and the Light That Broke Through Darkness," was published through Christian Faith Publishing.

According to the announcement, Stanton’s story begins with what she describes as an innocent curiosity about the unseen world, pursued through tools including Ouija boards, EVP recordings and spirit boxes.
