How We Use AI

Studio CarryOnHarry uses AI to help our small editorial team cover more entertainment news, press releases, and wire-service stories than we could by hand alone — while keeping a human editor responsible for every story that goes live.

How a story gets made

Most stories start from a press release, a wire-service feed, or another publicly available source. An AI model drafts a rewritten version of the story, working only from the facts in that source material — it is instructed never to invent names, numbers, dates, or quotes that aren’t actually present in what it was given.

Before anything is published, a human editor reviews the draft: checking it against the source, checking for originality (every piece is checked for how closely its wording overlaps with the source material before publication), and deciding whether it’s ready. Nothing on this site publishes itself — a person makes that call every time.

What AI does, and what it doesn’t

AI drafts the first version of a story’s wording and helps with routine tasks like summarizing a press release or suggesting a headline. AI does not decide what we cover, does not write our editors’ personal opinions or verdicts under their own byline, and does not publish anything without a human editor’s review.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error in one of our stories, please contact our editorial desk. We correct confirmed errors promptly, and a corrected story carries a dated note explaining what changed.

This page describes our current editorial process and may be updated as that process changes.
