Texas Minister Scott Price Releases 90-Day Scripture Devotional, “WALKING with JESUS for 90 DAYS”
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
A new devotional has been released by Scott Price, an ordained minister based in Canyon, Texas, "WALKING with JESUS for 90 DAYS," published through Christian Faith Publishing. The book lays out ninety daily reflections, each tied to a specific book, chapter, and verse of Scripture.
According to the announcement, Price began the project after what he describes as a prompting from the Holy Spirit, a calling he says he initially doubted given his own sense of his limitations as a writer. He went on to write the devotional anyway, with each day’s entry built around Scripture he says he was guided to during the process.
Price and his wife invest themselves in marriage ministry, prison outreach via Kairos and Jubilee programs, and service to the homeless at Transformation Park in Amarillo. The announcement describes the book’s theological foundation as resting on Price’s conviction that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, a view that the publisher says shapes each of the ninety reflections.
"May the Holy Spirit show you even more than He revealed to me during these ninety days," Price said in the announcement. "It is my prayer that God blesses you as abundantly in reading this book as He blessed me in writing it."
The devotional format Price has chosen sits within a crowded field of daily Scripture-reading guides aimed at Christian readers seeking a structured path through faith practice, from multi-book discipleship series to shorter reflective companions built around encounters with Jesus in Scripture.
"WALKING with JESUS for 90 DAYS" is available through Christian Faith Publishing’s website, as well as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google Play, and the Apple iTunes Store.
Studio CarryOnHarry notes that devotional literature remains one of the steadiest corners of Christian publishing, and a book built on a minister’s own lived ministry work tends to carry more weight with readers than one built on theory alone.

New Book from Alexandria Pastor Draws on Decades of Overseas Ministry to Teach Biblical Preaching
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
Frederick Sales Sr., an Alexandria-based preacher and teacher who has completed "A Servant’s Sermon: A Guide for Biblical Interpretation and Presentation," a guide aimed at helping preachers, teachers, and ministry leaders interpret scripture and present it with clarity, according to the announcement. The book is published through Christian Faith Publishing.
The guide draws on more than four decades of ministry work that has taken Sales Sr. across several continents. According to the announcement and the author’s own account, he traveled to South Africa’s Free State three times for week-long revival gatherings with local pastors and churches, and twice to Panama for teaching sessions and evangelistic outreach, including walking door to door with local congregations. His first overseas trip was to the Bahamas, where he spent a week in fellowship with local churches under the leadership of Bishop Joel Nelson and the Baptist association of Virginia, according to the author’s account. Sales Sr. has described that early experience as broadening his understanding of what he calls God’s plan of salvation for all people.
Those travels inform the book’s core premise: that scripture, properly interpreted, carries meaning across cultures and generations. The book sets out practical methods for interpreting biblical texts and translating that interpretation into presentation, material the publisher describes as intended to give preachers and teachers both a theological framework and presentational tools.
"Through my travels, I have learned that God’s word resonates with every culture and generation," Sales Sr. said in the announcement. "This guide represents my desire to help others unlock the richness of scripture and present it in ways that transform hearts and challenge minds toward deeper faith."
Throughout his ministry spanning over four decades, Sales Sr. has served with his wife, Sharon; the couple has two children, Danitah Venable and Frederick Sales Jr. The book is dedicated to his mother, Mary "Foots" White, who the announcement states died recently at 107.
"A Servant’s Sermon" is available through major booksellers and online retailers including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google Play, and the Apple iTunes Store, as well as directly through Christian Faith Publishing.
Studio CarryOnHarry’s interest here is less in the publishing mechanics than in the pattern: this is a ministry book built from fieldwork on three continents rather than armchair theology, and that distinction tends to matter to the audience it’s aimed at.

Ohio Author Nakkya Bouie Publishes Memoir “Survival,” Drawing on Homelessness and Personal Loss
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
Nakkya Bouie, an author from Ohio who is raising two children as a single parent, has released "Survival," a memoir tracing her experiences with homelessness, an abusive marriage, and what the announcement describes as betrayal by a family member.
According to the announcement, Bouie began writing at age thirteen, and "Survival" marks the fulfillment of that early interest. The narrative unfolds from her earliest years through to the present day in chronological order, and centers on the periods she describes as most difficult: housing instability, a failed marriage, and strained family relationships.
"I wrote this book to show others that no matter what you face in life, you have the ability to survive and eventually thrive," Bouie said in the announcement.
The publisher describes the book as offering both validation and encouragement to readers facing similar circumstances, framing Bouie’s account as a record of perseverance rather than simply a chronicle of hardship. "Survival" was published through Christian Faith Publishing and is available at bookstores, as well as through Apple iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Barnes & Noble.
Memoirs built around homelessness and domestic abuse tend to find their audience less through marketing than through word of mouth among readers who’ve lived something similar. Studio CarryOnHarry will be curious to see whether "Survival" finds that kind of reader base in the months ahead.
