Brian Givens’s New Book Offers Parents Four Biblical Principles for Raising Children Amid ‘Chaos’

Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk

Brian Givens, an educator with eighteen years of experience as a teacher, coach, and school principal, has published "Following Christ in the Chaos: 4 Biblical Principles for Parents," a book aimed at Christian parents navigating what the book describes as the overstimulation and competing demands of modern family life. It was published by Christian Faith Publishing in August 2026.

The publication structures its guidance using TILT—Train with Trust, Imitate our King, Lead with Love, and Teach with Grace—as its four core principles. According to the publisher’s description, the book is structured to address different parenting stages, from newborns to teenagers, and covers topics including reading Scripture in context, approaching prayer, disciplining children, and managing parental anxiety.

Each chapter reportedly pairs personal spiritual reflection with parenting application, closing with what the publisher calls a "training mode" section built around Bible verses, reflection questions, and a prayer response. An appendix adds further resources for spiritual formation, the publisher states.

Givens draws on his own family life as well as his career in education. He is married to Jana and has two sons, Owen and Mitchell. In the announcement, Givens said intimacy with God "can impact not only your children but also generations of Christ followers to come," and described the book as an attempt to push parents past surface-level techniques toward deeper discipleship.

"Following Christ in the Chaos" is available through major booksellers, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, and Google Play.

For Studio CarryOnHarry, books like this one speak to a steady market: parents looking for faith-based frameworks to counter what they see as the pressures of digital culture, rather than a single quick fix.
