Dr. Tom Glenn Recognized as a Professional of the Year by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Publication
About Dr. Tom Glenn
Author Dr. Tom Glenn has worked as an intelligence operative, a musician, a linguist, a cryptologist, a government executive, a care-giver for the dying, and a leadership coach. Many of his prize-winning books and short stories came from the better part of the thirteen years in which he shuttled between the U.S. and Vietnam on clandestine signals intelligence assignments before being evacuated under fire when Saigon fell.
The declassification of Dr. Glenn’s work in Vietnam led to a plethora of presentations, interviews, and articles. His Vietnam novel-in-stories, “Friendly Casualties,” was published in 2012, and his novel, “No-Accounts,” published by Apprentice House of Baltimore, came out in 2014. As a result, he was named a featured author by the Gaithersburg Book festival in 2014. Apprentice House published his novel, “The Trion Syndrome,” in November 2015. The Naval Institute Press brought out his novel, “Last of the Annamese,” in March 2017. “Coming to Terms” and “Secretocracy” were released in 2020.
“My writing is all novels and short stories, fiction by definition. Except that everything I depict in my writing really did happen,” said Dr. Glenn. “Because I have lived a life overflowing with adventures, nothing I could invent would equal the real experiences I have had. So I tell true stories, but I turn them into fiction by attributing the true events to fictional characters rather than to myself or someone I have known.”
Dr. Glenn has his B.A. in Music, a master’s in Government, and a doctorate in Public Administration and is trained as a musician, actor, and public speaker. He has toured the country lecturing on leadership and management, trained federal executives, and was the dean of the Management Department at the National Cryptologic School. He is also a reviewer for The Washington Independent Review of Books and the Internet Review of Books where he specializes in books on Vietnam. He has been given the “Last Man Out” award by 43 of his subordinates after Saigon fell and he risked his life to get them and their families out safely.
Born November 23, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Glenn is fluent in Chinese, Vietnamese, Latin, German, Spanish, French, and Italian. He is a member of the American Legion and in his spare time he enjoys listening to music.

Bryan P. Harty has a new novel out: "Cacophony Of Separation," a dark space opera depicting a future in which Earth’s dominant leaders control alien races and subjugated worlds through force. Studio CarryOnHarry received an announcement of the release, published through Newman Springs Publishing.
The book follows two central characters. Boer, a disgraced addict, seeks redemption by facing trials the publisher characterizes as impossible. Rebecca has lost her memory but is driven by vengeance. According to the announcement, the two are on a collision course that will determine whether humanity’s empire survives its own corruption, with ancient powers maneuvering behind the scenes throughout.
The publisher describes Harty’s work as centered on morally ambiguous protagonists and unresolved consequences, with the author’s stated approach avoiding tidy endings in favor of choices that carry lasting weight. The novel’s advertised themes include addiction, redemption, transformation, and the fracturing of empires built on subjugation.
Harty framed the book’s central question in his own words: "This novel asks what we’re willing to become in pursuit of redemption, and whether the cost is ever worth the price. Boer and Rebecca exist in a galaxy that doesn’t forgive weakness, yet both must find strength in the wreckage of their former selves. I wanted to create a space opera that refuses to look away from the brutality of power and the hunger for transformation."
Retail listings describe the book similarly, pitching it as a dark, unflinching look at power, addiction, transformation and the cost of redemption, with cover copy inviting readers to "step into a galaxy where nothing — and no one — is what it seems." The novel is listed for sale in paperback and Kindle editions, alongside Apple iTunes, Google Play, and Barnes & Noble.

Sandra Haynes has released a new novel, "Fate," a romance built around one chance meeting between two people and how that meeting reshapes both of their lives.
