Elizabeth Grundin’s New Book, “Moonlight Confessions,” is a Captivating Collection of Poetry That Gives Readers a Glimpse Into the Author’s Conflicted Internal World
[ad_1]
“In life, there is a bit of danger in our souls,” says Grundin. “Holding us up in hope and courage through times of hardship. It’s that thing which whispers in the back of your mind that better days are ahead. It grasps us by the soul to light our paths to another day… lest we run for freedom toward our eternity! Giving our best when best doesn’t seem enough, dig the danger inside and leave the world beautiful! For all the soul’s danger, we are exquisite! ‘Live life with danger in your Soul!’”
Published by Page Publishing, Elizabeth Grundin’s moving tale captures her complex spirit. Filled with a sense of wanting, Grundin’s work relays a profound desire to be better. She shares the lessons she has learned through her relationship with God in a unique and engaging way through her poems.
“Moonlight Confessions” begins as a traditional poetry book but compellingly shifts to a more freeform style of prose. Seemingly as a result of being empowered through Christ, Grundin’s writing goes from bleak and blunt to flowing words of encouragement. Readers are sure to relate to the author’s struggles as well as find motivation in her triumphs.
Readers who wish to experience this gripping work can purchase “Moonlight Confessions” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.

New Children’s Book Follows Three Boys Through County Fair Livestock Week
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
Leslie J. Weatherford has published a new children’s book, "Farmer Fuzzy Pants Goes to the Fair," which follows three boys, Matt, Mark, and Joey, through a week of raising and showing livestock at the county fair. The book is out now through Page Publishing.
The story centers on fair week itself: stalls that need cleaning daily, animals that need tending, and a tractor pull along the way, all building toward an auction where the boys’ months of work with their cows, pigs, and chickens get put to the test. According to the book’s description, one of the three, Joey, has specific plans for what he wants to do with his earnings, but has to prove he’s put in the work before the bidding starts. The book is categorized as juvenile fiction and draws on real details of fair life, from animal tagging to auction-day bidding, to give young readers a sense of what livestock competition actually involves.
Weatherford, drawing on her Michigan heritage, started creating children’s stories in 2024 following her experience as a parent. "Farmer Fuzzy Pants Goes to the Fair" is her recent release under Page Publishing.
"I wanted to create a story that shows children how hard work translates into real results," Weatherford said in a statement, adding that she hopes readers see Matt, Mark, and Joey’s journey as proof that showing up every day and caring for responsibilities pays off in ways that go beyond ribbons and trophies.
The book is available at bookstores and online through Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, and Barnes & Noble.
Studio CarryOnHarry sees this as part of a steady stream of agricultural-life stories aimed at young readers who may never set foot on a farm, and that alone makes the genre worth keeping an eye on.

Amanda Solomon’s New Novel “Liberty” Follows a Woman Rebuilding Her Life in Laguna Beach
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
Amanda Solomon has published a new novel, "Liberty," centered on a woman who relocates to Laguna Beach, California, to put a painful past behind her and start over. The book is available now through Page Publishing, in bookstores and through major online retailers including Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, and Barnes & Noble.
According to the book’s description, the protagonist’s fresh start takes an unexpected turn when she meets Duncan, who becomes a close confidant. Their relationship gradually surfaces secrets tied to her past, a thread that drives the novel’s central tension between forgetting and reckoning with what came before. An audiobook edition has also been released, running just over four hours and narrated by Olivia Liebe. The print edition runs 126 pages.
Solomon has said her interest in writing began with poetry in school, and she has pointed to Nicholas Sparks and Colleen Hoover as influences on her fiction, both known for relationship-driven, emotionally direct storytelling — a lineage that tracks with "Liberty"’s premise of self-discovery through friendship.
"This story is a deeply personal one," Solomon said in a statement, "and I hope it will inspire readers to embrace the power of resilience and the redemptive qualities of friendship."
Studio CarryOnHarry will be watching whether the audiobook, with a named narrator already attached, helps the book find an audience beyond the usual churn of small-press debut fiction.
