Former Army Officer Steven Finch Debuts Four-Book Mercenary Thriller Series
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
Through Fulton Books, former Army servicemember Steven Finch has released "Beyond the Hunt: The Journey Begins," the first entry in a four-book thriller series.
Finch explains that the narrative centers on two protagonists who connect and embark on a journey across the globe, constantly hunted by mercenaries. The female lead, he says, is trying to keep doing her job while also working with a government agency to bring down the mercenary group and the company both characters work for. Their travels take them to locations tied to their work and others meant for leisure, though per Finch’s description, the mercenaries eventually track them down wherever they go.
The author discovered his writing talent during his recovery from cardiac surgery in spring 2020, following his military discharge. He has described his motivation as wanting to provide for his children and give them a better start than he had. Outside of writing, he rides motorcycles, listens to music and spends time with his family, according to the announcement.
Readers can purchase the title at numerous booksellers online, from Amazon and iTunes to Google Play and Barnes & Noble, as well as through the publisher’s site.
For Studio CarryOnHarry, the detail worth watching is the four-book commitment. A debut novelist mapping out an entire series from the outset is a bet on both the story’s staying power and his own, and it’s worth checking back in once later installments start to arrive.
