Psychological Thriller Series Release Me Begins Production on Pilot Episode “Echo” Starring Gia Skova
Release Me is a stylized, character-driven anthology in which each episode explores a different emotional or psychological crisis—ranging from trauma and grief to identity and obsession. The series aims to blend psychological realism with speculative tech-noir elements, set within intimate, high-concept story worlds.
The pilot episode, Echo, centers on Tawny Richards (Skova), a high-powered businesswoman who enters a seemingly innocuous smart room and finds herself trapped inside a highly intelligent AI environment that confronts her unresolved past. As the voice of the room becomes more familiar—and more unrelenting—Tawny must face hard truths about her life, relationships, and the emotional armor she’s built.
Echo is being produced as a standalone proof of concept with plans for digital platform distribution and a full-season rollout in 2026. The project has garnered early industry interest for its minimalist production approach and psychological depth, reflecting influences from series such as Black Mirror, In Treatment, and Room 104.

New Children’s Book Follows a Mobility Service Dog’s ‘Transformative Day’
Page Publishing has released "The Day Annie Became a Hero!", a new book by author Kristina that follows a trained mobility service dog through a single day culminating in what the publisher describes as a life-saving moment for her owner, according to a Page Publishing announcement.
The book draws on the author’s 16 years as a dog trainer, according to the release. Kristina began training service dogs after volunteering to raise a golden retriever puppy, spending two and a half years developing the dog into a mobility service animal. Annie, the book’s central character, was one of the dogs Kristina trained, and the bond between them inspired the story, per the announcement.
"Through writing Annie’s story, I wanted to honor not just the incredible dogs I’ve trained, but the deep bonds they forge with their owners," the author said in the release. "When you witness the impact these animals have, you understand that their heroism isn’t just about grand gestures—it’s about showing up every single day with love and purpose."
"The Day Annie Became a Hero!" is available through Page Publishing, in bookstores, and through Apple iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Barnes and Noble, according to the release.

Author Pledges Book Proceeds to Aid Detained Migrant Children Through Monarch Butterfly Story
A new bilingual children’s picture book pairs the story of a monarch butterfly’s migration with a pledge from its author to donate 10% of proceeds to organizations providing pro bono legal services to migrant children and families in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, according to a release distributed via PR.com.
"Bella’s Journey: The Migration of a Monarch Butterfly," written and illustrated by Viola Greene, was released on Amazon.com and is aimed at children ages four to ten, per the release. The book follows a documented monarch migration route from West Virginia to the oyamel fir forests of Michoacán, Mexico, and uses the journey as a frame for introducing Spanish vocabulary, presenting both literal and interpreted translations alongside the English text.
Greene said the donation pledge is meant to draw attention to conditions she says children face in ICE detention. "Children in ICE detention camps can’t wait. They are being denied healthy food, toys, and the opportunity to play and go to school," Greene said in the release, citing reports of worms in food, confiscation of crayons and drawing paper, and unverified accounts of sexual assault and denial of health services. The release does not name the organizations that would receive the donated funds.
Greene also drew a comparison between the monarch and another recent use of butterfly imagery, saying she intends the monarch to serve as a symbol for migrant children in the way blue butterflies have become associated with Jeffrey Epstein survivors. The release does not specify what portion of book revenue the 10% pledge applies to, or over what time period donations would be made. The book is available now on Amazon.com.
