Songwriter Dom Did It Wins Grammy for Best R&B Album with Chris Brown’s 11:11 Deluxe Edition

New York, NY, February 05, 2025 –(CarryOnHarry.com)– Multi-platinum producer and songwriter Domenico Randazzo, professionally known as Dom Did It, has officially secured his first Grammy Award, winning Best R&B Album for his contributions to Chris Brown’s 11:11 Deluxe Edition at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. Dom co-wrote and performed on the standout tracks Delusional and Bruce Lee, further solidifying his place as one of the most sought-after creatives in contemporary R&B and beyond.

A New York City-based producer and songwriter, Dom’s career has skyrocketed over the past few years, with credits spanning across R&B, Rock, and Dance. His genre-blending approach — deeply influenced by Timbaland, Daft Punk, and Prince — has led to collaborations with Jason Derulo, John Legend, Tiësto, Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), Quarters of Change, Bingo Players, Disco Fries, and Viiq. Notably, he contributed to the Billboard Top 5 Dance hit Forever Love, a collaboration with Bingo Players, Disco Fries, and Viiq, showcasing his ability to craft infectious, high-energy records across multiple genres.

Dom’s musical journey began in Morristown, New Jersey, where he honed his craft as a lead guitarist and drummer before attending NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. There, he studied under Q-Tip (A Tribe Called Quest) and apprenticed with legendary producer Dave Tozer (John Legend, Kanye West).

A pivotal figure in Dom’s journey has been acclaimed artist and songwriter/producer YX. More than just a collaborator, YX has been a longtime friend and creative ally, with both artists supporting each other as they climbed the industry ladder. Their partnership has resulted in high-profile projects for Timbaland, Jason Derulo, and Chris Brown, reinforcing their mutual commitment to pushing the boundaries of modern R&B. Dom credits much of his growth to the creative synergy they share.

Winning a Grammy for his work on 11:11 Deluxe Edition marks a defining moment in Dom’s career, but it’s only the beginning. With an expanding catalog and a fearless approach to music production, he continues to shape the sound of modern music, blending nostalgia with innovation.

Reflecting on his win, Dom shared, “I used to listen to this guy on the school bus. I remember… with my iPod Classic and half-broken earbuds. Now, seeing my name next to his — and next to my friends — is surreal. And now that I’ve got the bug, we’ve got to run it back next year.”

Dom Did It is published by Arkatone Music Group Publishing in partnership with Enhanced Music/Sony Music Publishing.

SENSANE to Release Debut Vocal Album in October with UK and Indian Artists

Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk

SENSANE, a Derby producer and DJ, will launch his upcoming album on 22 October 2026 via AHK Global Records, his own record label, according to the announcement. The album combines prominent voices from Panjabi music, new talent from India, and UK artists, marking SENSANE’s debut appearance as a vocalist.

The album follows SENSANE’s long-running mix of Panjabi and Bhangra traditions with folk, hip-hop, R&B, garage and electronic production, a sound he’s built his name on as both a touring DJ and label head. AHK Global Records, which he founded, has previously put out Punjabi-facing projects, including a five-track EP with vocalist Kulvinder Johal that reportedly debuted at number six and was described by some as the first Punjabi album to reach that position on its chart.

"This album brings together the sounds and artists that have shaped me," SENSANE said in the announcement. "I wanted the album to honour the legends, give new voices a platform and show where I’m going next. Putting my own voice on a track is a big moment for me, and I can’t wait for people to hear it."

Details about the complete track listing, collaborators, and SENSANE’s vocal debut track will be revealed before the album drops, according to the statement.

Studio CarryOnHarry will be watching whether SENSANE’s own vocal debut changes how listeners place him: as a producer stepping forward, or as an artist who’s been building toward this the whole time.

From vault to vision: C’batch reimagines archive recording as ‘Our Little Pooh Pea (The Last Light) 4 – Cinematic’

Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk

C’batch has released “Our Little Pooh Pea (The Last Light) 4 – Cinematic,” an instrumental track built from a previously recorded guitar performance that the artist has reshaped into a new piece.

The release continues a pattern in C’batch’s work: revisiting prior work and reimagining it across multiple versions instead of viewing recordings as standalone pieces. Multiple outlets covering the release have noted that this approach — returning to older ideas and giving them new context — has become something of a signature, with this track functioning as the fourth installment under the “Our Little Pooh Pea (The Last Light)” title.

The piece is instrumental, with the guitar serving as the primary voice throughout the piece rather than functioning as one element among vocals or other lead instruments. Coverage of the release has described the guitar as the connective thread of the piece, tying its texture and tone together in a way multiple reviewers have called cinematic — the arrangement building mood and movement without lyrics to guide it.

Studio CarryOnHarry finds the more interesting story here isn’t the track itself but the method: a musician who views archived material as material for reinterpretation across multiple versions, and building a numbered series out of revisiting it.
