Enjoy the dual narrative from both Aunt Adeline’s and Charlotte’s point of view. Discover secrets the She Shed holds, the importance of friendship, and the true meaning of family.
Leah’s new book joins the bookshelf with Orr’s other thrillers, “The Executive Suite and The Bartender,” along with four children’s books, “Messy Tessy,” “It Wasn’t Me,” “Kyle’s First Crush” and “Kyle’s First Playdate.” Because Orr’s youngest daughter, Ashley, is afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis, proceeds from the sale of her books are generously donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Between profits from Orr’s books and participation in local CF events over the past 20 years, Orr has raised more than $1,300,000 for CF research. CF is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of nearly 70,000 children and adults worldwide and Orr’s personal goal is to not only raise awareness of the disease, but also raise money to help find a cure.
Leah has recently been featured on ABC’s Health Watch, NBC Today South Florida, CBS South Florida, CBS This Morning Virginia, NBC the 10! Show Philadelphia, Fox 4 News Morning Blend, National Syndicated, “The Daily Buzz,” and Lifetime TV’s “The Balancing Act.”
Leah has been featured in publications such as: Forbes Magazine, Medical News Today, The Miami Herald, The Sun-Sentinel, etc. Orr’s daughter, Ashley, was also a recipient of Oprah’s generosity in “The Big Give.”
Orr and her husband were nominated as one of Florida’s Finest Couples by the CF Foundation, and included in “In The Spotlight” on CFF.org.
Leah was also nominated as one of Broward County’s top 100 Outstanding Women. Orr grew up in Boston, MA, and is a graduate of The University of Miami.
“The She Shed” is available through local bookstores, Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, and wherever books are sold. More information can be found at www.leahorr.com.

Anthony V. Pugliese Expands 2020 Horror Collection in New Edition of “All Things Truly Wicked”
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
Anthony V. Pugliese has released a second edition of "All Things Truly Wicked," an expanded version of the horror and supernatural fiction collection he first self-published in 2020, through Newman Springs Publishing.
The new edition revises the original ten stories and adds fresh material, including seven original poems, according to the book’s listing. Stories range from a priest confronting a Mayan bat-demon in the Yucatan and an alien invasion told through a teenage outcast’s perspective to a centuries-old witch reborn via curse and an ancient, hungry entity growing in a backyard flower bed. The book draws its title from a line in Ernest Hemingway’s "A Moveable Feast."
Pugliese was raised in Steelton, Pennsylvania, and now lives in Harrisburg. He’s a former Pennsylvania National Guard member and retired Commonwealth employee who has also pursued paranormal research and co-hosts a podcast on unexplained phenomena, interests the publisher says shape the book’s sense of dread. He cites Stephen King, Dean Koontz, William Peter Blatty, and Ira Levin as influences, and has previously published in small-press magazines, anthologies, and academic journals.
The book’s description frames its recurring theme as moral erosion rather than sudden villainy: characters who begin as ordinary people are pushed, gradually, toward supernatural reckonings that accelerate a fall already underway. "These stories ask uncomfortable questions about the capacity for darkness within us all," Pugliese said in a statement. "I wanted to create narratives where readers cannot simply dismiss the characters as villains, because their descent into wickedness feels disturbingly plausible."
The publisher’s description notes that some scenes are graphic, and that the stories lean on religious and folkloric elements to ground their supernatural premises.
"All Things Truly Wicked (Second Edition)" is available through Newman Springs Publishing’s website, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google Play, and the Apple iTunes Store, as well as at bookstores. Studio CarryOnHarry will be curious whether the added poetry and new stories meaningfully extend the 2020 original or mostly round out its edges.

STEERus Rolls Out Free Tool and Webinar on How AI Describes Small Businesses to Customers
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
STEERus Inc. has launched a free online assessment called the Digital Signal Check, intended to enable business owners to see the difference between their own company description and how AI systems summarize it for potential customers. The River Vale, New Jersey-based company is pairing the tool’s release with a free webinar on October 23.
The launch builds on the work of STEERus founder Loralyn Mears, PhD, a scientist and leadership educator who wrote the book MISINTERPRETED: The Hidden Risk Making Brands & Leaders Invisible in the Age of AI. Mears coined the term Misinterpretation Risk to describe what she argues is a growing gap between what a business says about itself and what AI systems conclude about it after pulling from websites, reviews, listings, social media and news coverage scattered across the internet.
The concern, according to the announcement, is that AI search tools don’t return lists of links the way traditional search engines do. They synthesize scattered information into a single summary or recommendation. If a company has changed its services, pivoted its market, or simply accumulated outdated listings over the years, those older signals don’t disappear on their own, and they can shape what an AI tool tells a customer without the business ever knowing it happened. "Businesses have been taught to ask, ‘Can people find me?’" Mears said in the announcement. "The more important question now may be, ‘When AI finds me, does it understand me correctly?’"
The free webinar, titled "Is AI Search Making Your Business Invisible? 5 Things Every Business Owner Needs to Do Now," runs October 23 from 2 to 3 p.m. ET and is open to business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals. Mears is set to walk through how AI-driven discovery differs from conventional search and outline five steps businesses can take on their own to clean up conflicting digital information. Mears also hosts the Small Biz Stories podcast, now in its sixth season.
STEERus isn’t alone in targeting this concern; other companies have recently introduced similar tools aimed at showing businesses how AI assistants represent their brands, suggesting the question of AI-driven misrepresentation is becoming a broader small-business concern rather than a niche one. Studio CarryOnHarry will be watching whether tools like this one gain real traction with small business owners or end up as a passing feature of the current AI-search moment.
