Byrne Elliott Music Announces Upcoming Release of Instrumental Album “Age of Enlightenment”

Ten instruments are featured on the album “Age of Enlightenment.” Each of the recordings musically connects the listener to a diverse gamut of philosophical, introspection, and spiritual awakening. “Age of Enlightenment” craftily brings the audience into a state of euphoric mindfulness growth, warming the human spirit with calmness and meditative focus. Then, as life often does, suddenly it takes the listener off a safe path to chaotic uncertainty where external judgement becomes prevalent until inner independence of thought takes control and leads to personal enlightenment. Hope is restored yet continuously challenged by past and repeated traumas realized. Insight gained then threads itself through the individual’s emotions and life experiences.
The order of the recordings in “Age of Enlightenment” has been chosen to maximize listener engagement and understanding. “Age of Enlightenment,” the opening and title track is mind-opening, royally blissful, optimistic, and hopeful. The second track, “Sunlight” is inspiring, uplifting, spiritual and contemplative. “Calamity, the third piece, is darkly energetic, discontent, enraged, forceful, predatory, and rebellious. The fourth recording “La Seconda Venuta di Cristo (The Second Coming of Christ)” features Gregorian chants accompanied with the organ and percussions to create an atmosphere of solemnity and depth, in the style of religious musical productions found in “The Robe,” “The Ten Commandments” and “Ben Hur.” “Olympic Destiny,” the fifth track is a multi-movement production described as powerful, spellbinding, magical, and encompassing key elements of human emotion and spirit.
Finalizing the last five recordings of the album “Age of Enlightenment” includes the sixth track “American Revolution” described as forceful, intense, determined, and celebratory optimism. Track seven “Hope for the Hopeless” is melancholy, empathetic and thoughtful with an undercurrent of hopefulness. Recording eight, “Haunted Love” provokes an unsettling, chilling yet captivating feeling. “Lesson’s Never Learned,” track nine, guides the listener through an array of somber emotions and reflections. The final track, “Dance of Life” is performed by the talented renown pianist BoKyung Lee, creating magical intrigue to this timeless classic.

Composer Nathan Felix Releases “Borderland” featuring Panoramic Voices

Felix’s Choral Work in Spanish, Borderland, out October 15.
Composer, Nathan Felix, released a new classical music recording of his choral work, Borderland, featuring Austin Texas choral group, Panoramic Voices. Borderland was recorded by Grammy winning engineer Erik Wofford (Black Pumas, Grupo Fantasma). The choral album is released and available to stream worldwide on all digital platforms on Wednesday October 15th in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
This music of Borderland highlights hispanic cultural and hispanic musical heritage through a contemporary classical composition. The lyrics to Borderland are written in both English and Spanish and inspired by stories of families crossing the Texas/Mexico border and sacrificing their lives for their future children and grandchildren.
Borderland was originally commissioned by Panoramic Voices as a live immersive choral piece in which singers were scattered across KMFA’s stunning new east side building, sharing vignettes in different installations throughout the entire space. The performance premiered in February of 2023 and after the performance the trio of Panoramic Voices Director Juli Orlandini, KMFA’s Director of Events Stacey Hoyt and Felix collectively decided the work should be recorded at KMFA. Over the course of the next two years producer Erik Wofford helped engineer and mix the project.
The recording is twenty minutes in length featuring two compositions titled “Blood River” and “The Darkness in the River Unites Us”. Borderland is scheduled to be released worldwide on all digital platforms on Wednesday October 15th 2025.
For more information or to schedule an interview, please contact Nathan Felix.

Scottsdale Philharamonic Announces Program for Its Nov. 16 Concert

“We are excited to present the music from Antonin Dvorak, ‘The New World Symphony’,” says Joy Partridge, executive director of the Scottsdale Philharmonic.
Dvorak is considered a key figure in Czech musical nationalism, skillfully blending the folk music of his country into the symphonic tradition. He spent three years in the United States (1892-1895) as the director of the National Conservatory of Music in New York. During this time, he was inspired by American folk idioms, particularly African-American spirituals, leading to his Symphony No. 9, “From the New World.”
In addition to the Nov. 16 concert, The Scottsdale Philharmonic has set the following dates for its 2025-26 season—Sundays Dec. 7, Feb. 15, March 22, May 3 and June 28—as well as a new pops concert (Star Wars Saga and more) on Sunday, Aug. 2 and a full concert with chorale on Aug. 30.
All concerts for the 2025-26 Season will be held at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, 6300 E. Bell Rd., in Scottsdale, from 4-6 p.m.
“We have created a new program called the ‘Student Music Education Program’ to expand classical music to our youth through free ticketing, live streaming, free musical instruments to those in need, and musical scholarships,” says Partridge. “We are als0 planning a children’s concert program.
“We are excited to announce the debut of our Symphony Store, a donation-based store on our website supporting the Scottsdale Philharmonic,” Partridge explains. “Our Symphony Store is the official online donation center of the Scottsdale Philharmonic, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Here, you’ll find a unique selection of donated items and services available as thank-you gifts for your tax-deductible contribution to our symphony.”
Unlike many symphonies, the Scottsdale Philharmonic operates independently, without support from any city, town, or government. “Our ability to share beautiful music relies entirely on the generosity of individual donors and corporate sponsors,” explains Partridge. “Since ticket sales cover only one-third of concert costs, we need the unwavering support and dedication of our donors. If you’re passionate about classical music, please visit our website to donate and join our growing community of supporters.
“This past season showed us how much the community values the power of live classical music,” Partridge says. “As your Valleywide Symphony, we are proud to offer free live streaming for those who can’t attend in person, affordable ticket prices, free tickets to students and veterans, scholarships programs and easy parking. Our mission is to make classical music available to everyone.”
Individual concert tickets range from $20 to $35 and can be purchased online at www.scottsdalephilharmonic.com. For more information about the Scottsdale Philharmonic, to volunteer, or to donate, please visit www.scottsdalephilharmonic.com or call 480-951-6077.
