Today in this interview session she is about to introduce her book to us and shares her experience as an author. She is also going to share her writing process and will share some tips for new authors .

In the autumn in 1942, seven-year-old Peggy walks slowly home to the Rosedale boarding house where she lives with her two older brothers, her mother, and her quick-tempered and emotionally abusive father. As Peggy grows, she learns more about the world around her and the lies and secrets she has grown up with. Who is her father really, and why is the family always hungry when Colonel Charles Wickman, Esq. is supposed to be a successful lawyer? Where does he disappear to on his long business trips, and why is the family always moving?
The true nature of Charles’s history is forever intertwined with the relationships and lives of his family. Will Peggy and her brothers take after their father, ruining lives and relationships as they progress through their own, or will they manage to break the cycles of abuse and deception to build lives based in truth, friendship, and love? Tell us about yourself. Who you are where you come from. Few things that define you ?
I’m a retired educational assistant, living in Ontario, Canada. I have a husband of 43 years, a daughter and two grandsons.
How did you discover writer in you ? What ultimately made you a writer ?
My daughter, Justine died in a car accident at aged 29. I wrote about her life and our experiences trying to navigate a flawed mental health system while I was processing my grief.
What are qualities that an author should have to write well ?
Authors need confidence and a drive to write.
Talking about your new book ? What is it all about ?

How do you construct ideas into books. Tell us Journey of your Books how they travel from just a thought all the way to store ?
I use individual word documents to write. I write until it’s a completed chapter.
What is your writing process. How you develop a plot, make it interesting read , create characters. Where do you draw inspiration from ?
My first two books, Not My Story to Tell and JUSTINE were based on life experiences. My novel is loosely based on my mother’s life and my ancestors lives.
How do you cope with writing block ? And any tips you have found to over come those blocks ?
I step away from the project for weeks or months.
What is your writing routine ? Do you fancy to write a certain type of character or book ?
I write on my iPad at least one hour every day.
What gener of books you want to write in future ?
I’m working on a YA novel. It’s a LGBTQQIP2SAA about two women who took different paths and ended up together in their 50’s.
How do you deal with Negative Feedbacks ? How do you stay balanced with Positive Feed back ?
I welcome negative reviews because any review is good. My positive feedback gives me the confidence to continue.
Your experiences with publishers and editors ? Any Tips for aspiring author about finding and working with them ?
I self-publish. I found a wonderful editor who helped me improve my book.
Any book writing in progress ?
A LGBTQQIP2SAA YA novel, entitled Before They Were Butterflies.
