David Abbruzzese Expresses Feelings on Pearl Jam’s Continued Success Without Him

Former Pearl Jam drummer David Abbruzzese admits to feeling a sense of detachment as his former bandmates continue their musical journey without his involvement.

David Abbruzzese, the former drummer for Pearl Jam, has recently shared his sentiments regarding the band’s ongoing tours and recordings in his absence. Abbruzzese, who contributed to the albums ‘Ten’ and ‘Vs’ during his tenure from 1991 to 1994, was dismissed from the group, reportedly due to disagreements with Eddie Vedder. In a recent interview, when questioned about Pearl Jam’s continued success, Abbruzzese confessed to feeling a degree of separation. He acknowledged his role in the band’s ascent and admitted that witnessing their continued journey without him evokes a sense of longing. While recognizing the sting of being excluded, Abbruzzese emphasized his commitment to moving forward, expressing pride in his contributions to Pearl Jam and gratitude for the opportunities he received. Since his departure, Abbruzzese has remained active in the music scene, notably with his band, Green Romance Orchestra. He was also honored with an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Pearl Jam in 2017. Studio Team CarryOnHarry reports.
