Artist, Ed Murawinski, is entering the digital art metaverse with an NFT (non-fungible token) drop scheduled for Nov. 2, 2021. His NFTs will be available for purchase on the www.opensea.io marketplace starting at 4 pm ET. The Ed Murawinski First Edition NFT Collection will consist of 15 hand-drawn digital characters, including the first digital artwork created by Murawinski in 2009. Each First Edition character is limited to 50 individually numbered NFT’s (750 total). Asset Backed NFT™ company, Firma Pro, who recently announced a partnership with Hall of Fame Baseball legend Wade Boggs, will be powering the project.
Murawinski is the award-winning artist loved by millions for his work with the New York Daily News, where he created illustrations and cartoons for over 45 years. His art has been flaunted by such names as Mike Lupica, Regis Philbin, and hall of fame sportswriter Bill Madden. Currently, he is signed with CharacterClub.io as a featured artist.

Ed Murawinski got his start in 1969 as a copy boy for The New York Daily News while attending the School of Visual Arts. Ed got his big break in 1981 when he was asked to do some drawings for a small project. His caricatures resonated with readers and in 1986 he landed on the back page of the News.
Fast forward to 2009, when Murawinski joined the digital revolution by having the foresight to purchase a Wacom Cintiq, a creative pen tablet that allows one to create art electronically.
