“System,” now streaming on Amazon Prime, features a compelling performance from Sonakshi Sinha alongside Jyotika in this captivating legal drama. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film tackles pressing themes of justice, gender disparity, and societal biases within the courtroom. Critics have highlighted the actresses’ powerful portrayals, expressing that their performances elevate a somewhat predictable narrative, typical of courtroom dramas.

The story revolves around the complexities of a legal battle, focusing on women fighting for recognition and rights in a male-dominated environment. The film critiques how justice is often swayed by systemic biases and gender stereotypes, making it relevant and poignant for today’s audience. Sinha and Jyotika’s characters are portrayed with depth, reflecting the emotional turmoil experienced by many women in similar fights for justice.

Public reception on social media shows a mix of admiration for the performances and debate on the film’s predictability.
