H. A. Ayers Continues Corporate-Thriller Series with ‘Evan’s Path’
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
H. A. Ayers has published "Evan’s Path," a sequel that picks up months after CEO Evan Hoffmeyer’s first contact with a secretive organization known as The Order, according to the publisher’s announcement. The novel is out now through Christian Faith Publishing.
The story continues directly from an earlier installment in Ayers’s series. Hoffmeyer, fresh off merging the Carson Corporation and ListCorp, finds that his success has drawn the attention of Vice President Perry Dodson, who begins monitoring him without his knowledge, according to the book’s synopsis. That surveillance leads Dodson toward what the synopsis describes as a surprising decision. At the same time, President Addison is pressing to unlock Site C, described as the most critical of a network of bunkers meant to protect the country from catastrophic collapse, while also trying to break The Order’s grip on the federal government.
A second storyline follows Cale Liston in a pursuit across Europe with State Department officer Jack Welston, a chase that the synopsis says produces an unexpected alliance. Both threads eventually circle back to Hoffmeyer and the people around him, with the central question, as the publisher frames it, being whether his choices lead to his ruin or his redemption, and whether he can forgive himself even if he believes he’s forgiven by God.
Ayers has described the book as an attempt to look at how ordinary people handle decisions that carry consequences well beyond their own lives. "I sought to explore how everyday individuals make decisions in exceptional situations where their choices impact both their personal lives and national outcomes," Ayers said in the announcement. "Evan’s journey is ultimately about wrestling with conscience, seeking redemption, and discovering whether faith can illuminate the darkest paths." The publisher’s materials note that Ayers draws on a background balancing small-town values with city life, which the author has carried into the series’ recurring interest in trust, hope, and faith under pressure.
"Evan’s Path" is available through bookstores and major online retailers, including Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, and Barnes & Noble.
Studio CarryOnHarry will be watching to see whether Ayers continues building out Hoffmeyer’s story as an ongoing series, since this installment leans heavily on groundwork laid in the previous book.

Educator Brian Givens Publishes Parenting Guide Built Around Four Biblical Principles
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
With nearly two decades of experience in education—as a teacher, coach, and principal—Brian Givens brings firsthand knowledge to his new parenting book, has published a new book aimed at Christian parents, "Following Christ in the Chaos: 4 Biblical Principles for Parents," through Christian Faith Publishing.
At the heart of the work are four foundational principles abbreviated as TILT: Train with Trust, Imitate our King, Lead with Love, and Teach with Grace According to the publisher’s description, the book argues that raising children spiritually requires more than parenting techniques or quick fixes, and instead frames the work as a call for parents to deepen their own relationship with God first. Each of the four principles gets its own chapters addressing both personal spiritual practice and day-to-day parenting decisions, covering topics including how to read Scripture in context, how to approach prayer, how to handle discipline, and how to manage parental anxiety.
Structurally, the book includes what the publisher describes as "training mode" sections at the end of each chapter, pairing referenced Bible verses with reflection questions and a prayer response, plus an appendix of additional spiritual formation resources.
Givens draws on his own background for the book’s perspective: he’s married to Jana and is the father of two sons, Owen and Mitchell, and describes his years in school leadership as giving him a vantage point on how Christian families are navigating what the book characterizes as an increasingly overstimulating culture. "Your intimacy with God can impact not only your children but also generations of Christ followers to come," Givens said in a statement accompanying the release, adding that he wants the book to "awaken Christian moms and dads to pursue his presence personally."
The book is available through major booksellers and online retailers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google Play, and the Apple iTunes Store.
Studio CarryOnHarry will be watching whether Givens’s dual background in education and parenting gives this entry more staying power than the steady stream of faith-based parenting guides competing for the same readers.

Brian Givens’s New Book Offers Parents Four Biblical Principles for Raising Children Amid ‘Chaos’
Balle Balle Radio™ Entertainment Desk
Brian Givens, an educator with eighteen years of experience as a teacher, coach, and school principal, has published "Following Christ in the Chaos: 4 Biblical Principles for Parents," a book aimed at Christian parents navigating what the book describes as the overstimulation and competing demands of modern family life. It was published by Christian Faith Publishing in August 2026.
The publication structures its guidance using TILT—Train with Trust, Imitate our King, Lead with Love, and Teach with Grace—as its four core principles. According to the publisher’s description, the book is structured to address different parenting stages, from newborns to teenagers, and covers topics including reading Scripture in context, approaching prayer, disciplining children, and managing parental anxiety.
Each chapter reportedly pairs personal spiritual reflection with parenting application, closing with what the publisher calls a "training mode" section built around Bible verses, reflection questions, and a prayer response. An appendix adds further resources for spiritual formation, the publisher states.
Givens draws on his own family life as well as his career in education. He is married to Jana and has two sons, Owen and Mitchell. In the announcement, Givens said intimacy with God "can impact not only your children but also generations of Christ followers to come," and described the book as an attempt to push parents past surface-level techniques toward deeper discipleship.
"Following Christ in the Chaos" is available through major booksellers, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, and Google Play.
For Studio CarryOnHarry, books like this one speak to a steady market: parents looking for faith-based frameworks to counter what they see as the pressures of digital culture, rather than a single quick fix.
