Mastecki Records – Instead of Producing Artists, We Produce Music

Studio Carry On Harry [ Interviews with Musician Singers Bands  ] We are glad to exchange  Music Talks with Mikael Mastecki of Mastecki Records. The good occasion of connecting with us being release of 4 tracks available on all streaming platforms and the latest called Wreck released in Feb 2021.

How long you been in performing arts ? Share some details of initial days / learning days / experimenting days to grow to BE WHAT YOU ARE TODAY

Mikael MasteckiMany years later until now in 2021. Then everything all of a sudden from social media to different platforms where you can stream music has increased sharply and now it is easier to succeed by yourself than to have a record label and that’s where I got the idea to produce music then not by the name of mihuman but Mastecki Records and let talented vocalists be my voice. So instead of producing artists, we produce music together with me as founder and the whole team of people who mix the track, who record, and so on. We really work so hard on every track that is produced.

We have now 4 tracks available on all streaming platforms and the latest called Wreck that was released on the 19th February 2021 with over 500 thousand streams.

What was most attractive part for you to be in this industry ?

To begin with, that was when I was 16 years old. It all started as a hobby. I created music for fun until it became more serious then after. What led me into what I have created now is to leave behind a legacy, a name and work with talents who get too little focus on their careers as artists

Share some experiences ( good or bad ) any that made you grow in life or profession ?

Mikael MasteckiWhen I was younger, then 16 years old. There was a hip hop underground group that made really good music, over time we became friends and started producing together. I think my knowledge and thinking has come from that time. I myself grew up on so-called, old school hip hop music, much like Tupac, Biggie Smalls, DMX, (Rest in Peace).

Who inspired you ? How do you work on creating your own signature style ?

What inspires me and allows me to do what I’m doing right now is something similar to what DJ Khaled did before he became famous. Dj Khaled started to help artists before they made a big impact, he like me has a musical family and the cool thing is that Khaled released an album that became in the top 20 on Billboard, he started his own record label and became president of Def Jam South.

You wonder what inspires me? Here you have it.

What do you want to convey through your music?

Basically everything that goes, from life. I want to convey to all my fans’ stories everything that has happened in my life and everything that can happen. Both the past, present time, future.

I want to be that voice for my fans so they can relate to the stories that are told in my tracks.

Story behind making of your new track / Album?

Based on true story. It’s about a man with a broken heart who has been through alot in life. Been hurt and left alone. And just to mention one thing, how I work as a producer, just look at the cover of Wreck, what can you tell? A wrecked city, but you didn’t know one thing that this is a metaphor for a person with a broken heart.

Any interesting trivia about making of song ?

Creation of the song: This song is a Alternative/Rap/Rock, say Linkin Park x Secondhand Serenade kinda vibe, singing and rapping. When creating this project it was in a session with some live musicians and recorded tracks, this song has all the live guitars/drums stems. I hired musicians to play Live drums and Live guitars!

People who you would like to thank ?

Mikael MasteckiI’m so proud of all my artists who do such powerful projects. Big thanks to Singapore Finest, my brother Richard Jansen , Who made this project (Wreck) and are a part of Mastecki Records family. He is a very talented artist and I look forward to working with him in the near future.

And thanks to all my fans and family members as well.

People who you would like to work with and people you idolize to be like professionally ?

DJ Khaled

Where do you see your music 3 years from now ?

I hope to produce my first album and music videos within these 3 years that will be linked to the songs. Let Indie artists that I work with become great in music and famous.

How would you like to stretch your boundaries of genre in future projects ?

I want to go as far as to travel around the world and work with different talents. I have already started to do it a little bit. Let the artists be heard, there are so many talents around the world that you miss daily.

Let Mastecki Records be a good start to their careers.

Message for Fans and listeners…

To all Fans and listeners, just support us by listening to our music or Pre-Order it here https://www.diggersfactory.com/vinyl/244302/mastecki-records-top-4-greatest .

I really appreciate it!

My advice is that whatever you’re going to start doing, you have to give it 200% and take the risk. It doesn’t matter if it’s about your work or private life. You always have to do the best you can.

Even if you tell yourself you can’t do it, you have to give that work all you have. Make it great, find your way to start making it more efficient and interesting and improve it! Take advantage of it even if it is about the small actions performed in your journey.

The truth is that many people today would rather be noticed than do something that is remarkable. It’s better to do something remarkable than get noticed because getting noticed will be a by-product.
