An artist’s love of Arizona inspires a new painting class at the Maricopa County Home Show on Oct. 14 through Oct. 16.

– The creative juices are flowing! This October, Kristin Dragos of Paintpourium is hosting a free daily painting class at the Maricopa County Home Show from Friday, Oct. 14 through Sunday, Oct. 16. Attendees can learn how to create their own Arizona-inspired masterpiece in the Handmade Headquarters area of this October’s event and get inspiration for future works all while enjoying some great home decor products too. No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.
This is the second event that Paintpourium has offered a free painting class at the home show; the class in July was a huge success. This time, Dragos has incorporated her love of Arizona and the Phoenix area into the piece she’ll be teaching.
“The Maricopa County Home Show is the perfect place to host a free painting class,” said Dragos. “There are so many people who come through the show looking for ways to improve their homes, and I’m excited to give them an opportunity to learn how to get creative and paint with acrylics.”
During the class, Dragos will be teaching how to create an abstract background and landscape and how to create a fun, Arizona-shaped border around the finished piece. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to try your hand at painting with some guidance from an expert.
The Maricopa County Home Show will take place from Oct. 14-16 at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. Paintpourium’s abstract painting class will be one of six handmade classes offered each day.
