Akshaya Patra Presents Namaste! 2023 Indian Festival Dec. 2, 2023
“Sunshine Vibes” musical ensemble comprising over 20 young vocalists, instrumentalists, and percussionists, will fuse the rich heritage of Indian music with Western classical, jazz, and world music. Catch them performing at 1 PM.

● Mesmerizing rhythms of Indian Maharashtrian drums.
● Energetic blend of Garba and Bollywood fusion dance performances.

● Enchanting Bharatanatyam and classical performances.
● Classical music performances featuring Veena and vocals.
● DJ playing popular Indian Bollywood songs ideal for dancing from 5:30 to 8 PM.
About the curator: Sanjay Chandran, founder Florida Fine Arts
Sanjay Chandran is an accomplished violinist of Indian classical and world music genres. He has played solo concerts and performed with many renowned Indian musicians all over the world and received many awards/honors, including the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for “The Most Promising Young Violinist” from the Government of India. He performs original acoustic jazz fusion music with highly acclaimed jazz artists and has founded/co-founded multiple world music bands. He also curated “Jazz Yatra,” two highly eclectic concerts of world music and dance. His mission is to showcase the rich Indian culture while collaborating with other cultures to make the arts rich and diverse.

The new Digital Music Single release by Ami Cannon is entitled “Daddy’s Coming Home For A Country Christmas”. It is a Christmas song with an Indie, Singer-Songwriter, Country & Western feel. Instrumentally it combines a bass, drums, electric guitar and a steel pedal guitar. It combines the instruments with a melody and Inspirational Holiday lyrics that tell a heartfelt story of a mother telling her children that their Daddy is coming home for Christmas.
The new Digital Music Single by Billy Ray Charles is entitled “I Treat My Woman Better Than I Treat My Wife” Radio Edit. It is a happy, energetic Blues song that can be described as is a cross between Louisiana Shuffle Blues and Southern Soul. It has a happy, energetic feel and a lively beat that is meant to get people moving.
Lyrically, it is a serio-comic story about a guy that has both a wife and a girl friend.
“We have two really strong releases this week,” said Loveforce International CEO Mark Thomas. “We have one song that kicks off ‘A Loveforce Christmas’ with three more different kind of Christmas songs following next month, and a radio edit of very catchy song,” he said. “All told, listeners should be happy with this day after Thanksgiving happy pair of releases,” he continued.
